language barriers aside, sitting with people, making eye contact, serving chai…living even just a few moments of life together. we learned names and histories, told a few stories, and laughed together. as my first post from my time in India, I want to share these beautiful faces with you. faces that hold a lifetime of stories, hands that tell of years of labor, eyes and hearts that just want to be seen. the karuna health center in kethanakonda provides a home for those without one, lives that otherwise would go unseen.

we pass faces like these every single day – lives with stories to tell. let us only remember to stop and listen.
